But I love people. I love people who feel deeply, who think deeply, who live passionately. In the presence of friends like these - I am myself, more fully, more powerfully, more passionately.

That's why I'm here: to create an atmosphere in which incredible things happen, for myself and for the people around me: growth, breakthrough, and enlightenment.

I majored in philosophy in college, but I got bored of chasing squirrels around metaphorical trees; so I turned to deeper thoughts - mythology, metaphor, psychology … and somehow ended up a Buddhist. I occasionally write poetry and the odd essay about my dharma - the heart and the law. 

I believe we're defined by how we interact with the world around us: nature, knowledge, other people; and that we discover ourselves through relating. The questions sites like this raise, on community, identity, relationship, and blurring of the lines between 'virtual' and 'real' - fascinate me. Maybe because I've never been the best at seeing thickly drawn borders. So if I slip off on a tangent of this vein - you now know why. I hope you'll play along!
