Every so often I draw a couple cards from a Tarot deck just before I get up for the day (they're in my nightstand.
More often than not they have some bearing on the day... but this is the first time I've drawn these two together.
Yeah, quite a pair to get. Opposing cards in many ways… maybe a crossroad was at hand where you had to choose between solo introspection to growing through some partnership. Bloody hell. I wonder which path you took :-) It's a nice idea to draw a card every morning. I think I'll try it.
I see the road that the hermit walks as a journey of quiet simplicity, a time and place to hear the inner truth. His strength is in the knowing he finds within. This leads to inner balance, which is, of course, needed before any external partnership can hope to be built in an enduring fashion. What was the day like?
